What? At SAA-uk North Indian Music Academy we offer training in a number of musical instruments and disciplines including Sitar, Tabla, Santoor, Bowed instruments and Vocals

Who? Meet our tutor team: Jasdeep Singh Degun, Ustad Harjinderpal Singh, Kirpal Singh Panesar, Bhupinder Singh Chaggar, Poulomi Chakraborty and Keertan Rehal.

When? Every Sunday from 3 to 6.30pm

Where? Floor 2 Punjabi School, GNNSJ, 78 Lady Pit Lane, Beeston, LS11 6DP.

How Much? £85 per 10-week term for 1hr group class / £100 per 10-week term for 1.5hr group class

 

Our North Indian Music Academy is the hub for learning Indian music in Leeds on a Sunday afternoon – come and see what it’s all about!

Vocal                          3pm onwards (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

Bowed instruments    3 - 5.30pm (3-4pm Beginner, 4-5.30pm Advanced)

Santoor                      3 - 6pm (All abilities, please enquire)

Sitar                           3.30pm onwards (All abilities, please enquire)

Tabla                          4 - 6.30pm (Beginners and Intermediate)

 

In addition to group classes, SAA-uk also offer 1-to-1 sessions, a range of professional development opportunities for young people, and the chance to perform at cultural events on a local and national scale.
