We invite you to experience a seamless blend of composed and improvised music, with the pieces drawing from the diverse cultural background that South India is blessed with. Interpreted through the violin, the musicality of these compositions will be brought forth, through the simple and pure magic of melody, rhythm and aesthetics.
Shreya Devnath is a student of the legendary Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, currently under the guidance of Sri Lalgudi GJR Krishnan, and strives to be a worthy representative of this prestigious school of music. She has been actively performing within and outside India for the last seven years.
Please do stay for an after concert Q&A

Wonderful - more of the same!
Brilliant, more Carnatic violin please
Excellent music, lovely to hear the students, at the beginning, but wicked seats for a tall man!
Great rapport and virtuosity, more!
Fab, Carnatic makes a change, violin as well. Dance was my first intro to Indian music in 1970 at Sadler’s Wells
Stunning more Carnatic please
Very enthralling music of the highest order. Shreya is multitalented and kept the audience involved and Pirashanna and Prathap all took the concert to great heights
